Ex-employee of ING sentenced to 8 years in prison

An ex-employee of ING was condemned to 8 years in prison after embezzling almost 16 million euros over 30 years.

 

After diverting customer funds for over 30 years and gathering a total of 16 million euros, the ex-employee was sentenced to 8 years in prison, including 2 suspended.

The judge's decision was announced on Wednesday by the District Court of Luxembourg after the bank clerk confessed. The ex-employee was convicted for theft, forgery and fraud.
