A Belgian man returned home to find his wife and two daughters had committed suicide.
According to police, the three women, aged 29, 30 and 56 years old, had allegedly committed collective suicide.
The family, which lived in Dahlem, near Liege, Belgium, were discovered hanging in the hallway, from chains.
Mayor of the commune Jean-Claude Dewez told reporters : "The police told us that a triple suicide, which was confirmed by the medical examiner. These are people have no history with the police. But a mass suicide such as this one, is the kind of thing that many people will ask questions about."
According to preliminary results of the investigation and the coroner's report, the three women committed suicide after a collective frenzy.
