Bridel road closed after collisions

Two collisions wihin the space of an hour have caused polic to close the Bridel road between Bridel and Strassen until further notice.
The first collision occurred at about 11.15pm on Sunday night when a motorist lost control of his car and drove into a ditch where he collided with a tree.
45 minutes later a second driver lost control of his vehicle, crashing into a telegraph pole before colliding with two other vehicles.
Police believe that both accidents were caused by the slippery road surface caused by recent rains. To avoid further incidents, the Bridel road has been closed until further notice.
No-one was injured in either incident.
