Drunk driver has Ferrari confiscated

A man who drove a Ferrari whilst drunk and with no insurance to impress his girlfriend has had his car confiscated.
Police stopped the driver in Rue Rham in Junglinster at about midnight on Saturday.
A breathalyzer test showed that he was over the legal limit and subsequent checks revealed that the vehicle had been declared off the road since 2009.
The man told police that he wanted to show the vehicle to his girlfriend. The car was confiscated.
