In a report released by the Central Bank of Luxembourg, after a seasonal adjustment, consumer confidence has increased. However the level remains lower than than before the onset of the economic and financial crisis.
The analysis shows that confidence indicators have made positive progress. The concern about unemployment has reduced and for on the overall economic situation in Luxembourg the results shown best results since April 2008. Finally, expectations of households about their financial situation and saving capacity have improved slightly.

Regarding the question about expectations with regard to unemployment, an increase reflects a negative trend, while a decline indicates a favourable change in expectations.
