This morning at 2am a fire broke out in a house in Wiltz, on route de Winseler. The family including a boy of 6 years old managed to contact the fire brigade.

A family in Wiltz managed to prevent fire rapidly spreading throughout the house from where it ignited, by quickly contacting the fire brigade who brought the blaze under control.

Because of the freezing weather the route de Winseler was carefully gritted to prevent freezing water on the surface coming from the water cannons that extinguished the flames.

Nobody suffered from smoke inhalation or was injured in the incident.
