Motorways closed to trucks due to snow
Motorists spent an average of three hours in their vehicles and the situation does not seem to be getting any better. Lorries over 3.5 tonnes are now banned from circulation in Belgium due to heavy snowfall that is currently paralysing the Brussels region.
Trucks that cross the border between Luxembourg and Belgium are now being stopped. It is currently unclear when this restriction will be lifted.
