A 44 year old Arcelor Mittal  employee, originally from Rodemack just over the border in France, was killed in a freak work accident.

The employee was working at the plant in Differdange  located on rue Woiwre when a heavy metal object fell and hit him on the head.

The French worker did not survive the accident and an investigation is now underway.
