Handy app for hungry pupils

Free iPhone app lets high school pupils know what's on lunch menu, not for ISL and European School

Luxembourg's education ministry is continuing to embrace new technologies as it has introduced a handy iPhone app for pupils, through its provider of school canteen food, Restopolis. By downloading this free app, students and teachers can check what's on the daily lunch menu in each of Luxembourg's school canteens. They can also consult menus of the seven previous days and the seven days to come. An Android version is currently in the making.

By using a personal login, users can also check their Restopolis account balance, used to electronically pay for school meals.

Unfortunately, the menus of the International School, European School and St.Georges' School aren't included, which is a pity, as it looks like a very handy app.
