On Wednesday afternoon a young man was brutally robbed by a group of three people at the skate park in Gasperich (Luxembourg-City). Around 4:30pm the victim was approached by the offenders and asked if he knew where one could buy drugs. After he told them, that he didn't, they left, only to return shortly after to further harass him. As the offenders crowded around him, the victim was suddenly punched in the face. A second attacker, wielding a knife, held on to the victim's shoulder while he was robbed of his cash, mobile phone, mp3 player and watch. The three attackers then fled towards the Gare area.

The victim had the good idea to follow the offenders from some distance. Police managed to arrest the leader of the gang shortly afterwards in the train station building.
