Police in Luxembourg-City centre have announced that they are moving their headquarters from its current location at Centre Hamilius, to a temporary station on Place du Théatre, near O-Bar and the Cinémathèque. This relocation is part of the big redevelopment project dubbed Royal Hamilius, on which construction is set to begin this year.

Moving from the old to the new location will take place on 6 and 7 February, so next Monday and Tuesday. On these days, the city centre police station will be shut. The new temporary station will then re-open on Wednesday, 8 February, opening times are weekdays between 8am and 5:30pm.

At a later, unknown date the new police station will then be installed in a definitive location in Rue du Fossé, next to Ernster book shop.
