On Wednesday afternoon, one person died in an explosion at a factory of an Arcelor Mittal subcontractor company in Florange, France. The victim, an employee of DM Service Lux, was at the Harsco factory to inflate a special type of Stacker wheel,pictured. A preliminary investigation concluded that the explosion happened during this inflation process, findings which still have to be confirmed.

One other person was injured and brought to hospital, he's not in a critical condition though.

An Arcelor Mittal statement said, that their thoughts were with the family and work colleagues of the victim. The steel company will do everything to determine the exact cause of the accident.
