2012 marks a new step forward in Luxembourg's construction sector. From July onwards, each new home built in the Grand-Duchy must possess a standard energy performance of “CB”. From January 2015 onwards, it will change to a low-energy performance of “BA”.

Air leakages can now be avoided thanks to a controlled and mechanical ventilation system. Not only does this system keep the heat inside the building and reduce the consumption of about 2liters of diesel/m2, but it also helps avoid drafts which leaves your home with nothing but the freshest air. During the building process, CLK conduct at least one "blowerdoor" test, in order to ensure the quality of sealing.
