Michel Liès to become boss of reinsurance company after internal reshuffle

The world's second-largest reinsurance company, Swiss Re, is to be led by Luxembourgish national Michel Liès. The 57 year-old has been with the company for over 30 years and has now been asked to step, after his predecessor Stefan Lippe announced his retirement last December.

Since 2011 the father of two was Chairman of Global Partnerships at Swiss Re, as of 1 February 2012 he'll be CEO.
